Our Founder

Headshot of Amanda Israel

Amanda Israel is a philanthropic advisor and social impact strategist with over 20 years of experience leading purpose-driven initiatives across the corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors. Her work bridges philanthropy, family office strategy, and legacy design, helping individuals and families align wealth with values to maximize their philanthropic impact.

She has helped raise over $100 million for global education, preservation, and wellness-focused organizations, and has guided major institutions through growth, governance, and transformational giving. Through her consulting practice, she has supported a range of nonprofits and family foundations in developing strategic plans, governance structures, and fundraising systems that deliver lasting results.  Prior to this, as the Executive Director of the Burger King Foundation, Amanda expanded operations into 40+ countries and built partnerships with leading nonprofits to scale education and relief efforts worldwide.

Her earlier roles with museums, public sector projects, and cultural institutions reflect a lifelong passion for education, preservation, and storytelling, including producing and archiving three oral history projects housed in Miami, FL and Asheville, NC.  Amanda has served on boards including Big Brothers Big Sisters, AFP, and the Council on Foundations, and has been recognized by the South Florida Business Journal 40 under 40, the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, where she was selected as a Florida Nonprofit Leader, and the National Restaurant Association's Neighbor Award.

Amanda is an active keynote speaker and has spoken at global forums such as the Social Innovation Summit, Women in Leadership Symposium, and World Literacy Foundation.

Through TovanaBloom, Amanda offers families, foundations and family offices a rare blend of care, structure, and strategy — guiding clients through legacy transitions, governance design, philanthropy, and family storytelling. Her mission is to help clients steward not just their wealth, but their values and story while growing their impact.
